People’s Party Party Leader Ndindi Nyoro has declared that the party’s entry into the opposition is aimed at intensifying efforts to remove President William Ruto from power and bring political change in Kenya.
Nyoro said the party had joined the opposition with two main objectives: ending Ruto’s presidency and transforming the country.
“We, as the People’s Party, have joined the opposition to increase the speed of sending Ruto back to Sugoi,” Nyoro said.
He outlined the party’s priorities, insisting that its mission goes beyond removing the President from office to changing the country’s political and governance direction.
“There are two things: first, to send Ruto home, and second, to change our country, Kenya,” he stated.
Nyoro’s remarks signal the People’s Party’s intention to work with opposition forces in challenging Ruto’s leadership as political alignments continue to shape the road towards the 2027 General Election.
