ABC Bank, Paramount Plaza and adjacent customers will also experience the scheduled interruption.

Kajiado: Matasia and Surrounding Areas

In Kajiado County, the maintenance exercise will affect parts of Nkoroi and Matasia from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Areas listed in the notice include Kimani Road, Gataka Road, Mayor Road, Masai Lodge Road, Nazarene University, Olekasasi, Tuala, Sigma Feeds, Emakoko and Kedlenye, alongside neighbouring customers.

Kiambu: Rumenye

In Kiambu County, parts of Rumenye will experience a planned electricity interruption from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The outage will affect Rumenye, the Safaricom Data Centre and adjacent customers.

In Nandi County, the scheduled maintenance will affect Olessos Technical, Timbili and Cheptuingeny, as well as adjacent customers.

The interruption is expected to run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., making it the shortest scheduled outage among the areas listed in the notice.

Customers Urged to Plan Ahead

The planned maintenance is intended to facilitate work on the electricity network. Residents, businesses and institutions in the affected areas are advised to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the scheduled interruptions.

Customers who rely on electricity for business operations, essential equipment or other daily activities should plan accordingly and follow Kenya Power’s official communication channels for any updates.

The utility’s notice lists the affected locations and scheduled outage times for Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
