Kenya Police Bullets FC secured a 1-0 away victory over Trinity Starlets FC, while APS Bomet FC narrowly lost by the same scoreline to Gor Mahia FC in their respective Football Kenya Federation (FKF) league matches played on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

In the FKF Women’s Premier League, the Police Bullets claimed all three points at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, with Lorna Nyabuto scoring the decisive goal in the 38th minute.

Nyabuto converted a set-piece to give the visitors the lead before heavy rainfall disrupted proceedings, delaying the start of the second half.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the Bullets maintained their lead to secure the win. Nyabuto was subsequently named Queen of the Match and Player of the Match following a fan vote.

In the men’s FKF Premier League, APS Bomet suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against defending champions Gor Mahia at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay.

APS Bomet produced a strong first-half performance, controlling possession in Gor Mahia’s half and creating scoring opportunities, including a notable chance shortly before the break.

Bomet introduced Festus Kipkemoi for Cosmas Abuta in the second half as they sought to maintain their intensity and put pressure on the champions.

However, Gor Mahia found the breakthrough in the 85th minute, securing a late victory despite Bomet’s efforts.

The National Police Service commended Kenya Police Bullets for their away win and praised APS Bomet for their performance against the league champions.
