Manchester City held off a late Ipswich Town fightback to secure a 3-2 Premier League victory at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The win saw City manager Enzo Maresca make history by becoming the first manager in Premier League history to win his opening seven matches in charge of a club.
Erling Haaland’s brace and Phil Foden’s goal proved decisive as City maintained their perfect start to the league campaign, while Ipswich’s late response kept the hosts under pressure until the final whistle.
