Jubilee Party Leader Fred Matiang’i has reaffirmed his commitment to building a united opposition following a meeting with aspirants from Jubilee Party, the People’s Party of Kenya (PPK) and the People’s Liberation Party (PLP) in Nakuru County.

Matiang’i met the aspirants at Donix Hotel in Njoro, where discussions focused on strengthening opposition unity and advancing a common agenda ahead of future political engagements.

In a statement shared on his social media platforms, Matiang’i said the opposition remained committed to working together to address the country’s economic challenges and promote accountable leadership.

“Our commitment to building a united opposition, strengthening our collective resolve, and advancing a shared agenda for economic recovery, accountable leadership, and a better future for all Kenyans remains steadfast,” he stated.

The meeting brought together political aspirants drawn from across Nakuru County, highlighting ongoing efforts by opposition-aligned parties to coordinate their political activities and rally support around shared objectives.

Following the meeting, Matiang’i announced that the engagements would continue with a joint public rally at Posta in Njoro, providing an opportunity for the leaders to engage directly with residents.

The latest meeting comes amid continued political realignments and consultations among opposition leaders seeking to strengthen cooperation around governance, economic recovery and leadership accountability.
