Martha Karua has called for inclusive leadership and better governance, saying all those committed to changing the country’s political direction should be welcomed into the effort.

In a statement shared on her X account, Karua stressed the need to unite people around the pursuit of accountable leadership, arguing that no one should be excluded from the push for national change.

“Our doors must remain open to all those who share the desire for better governance,” Karua stated.

She added that the country could not afford to leave anyone behind in the collective effort to transform its leadership and governance structures.

“We cannot afford to leave anyone behind when the task before us is to change the direction of our country,” she said.

Karua further emphasised that the power to determine the country’s political future rests with the electorate, urging Kenyans to make decisions based on the trust they place in their leaders.

“And that change is in the hands of the people,” she noted.

She maintained that voters must exercise their democratic right to choose leaders at every level of government, from the presidency to Members of County Assemblies (MCAs).

“From the presidency to the MCA, Kenyans must decide who has earned their trust and who deserves another chance to serve,” Karua said.
