A 30-year-old man has died mysteriously after collapsing at a barbershop in Koyonzo Market, Matungu Constituency, in Kakamega County on Thursday.
Witnesses, led by Victor Nandwa, said the man had visited the barbershop for a haircut but suddenly collapsed and died before the barber could begin attending to him.
Police officers collected his body from the scene and transferred it to the mortuary at St. Mary’s Mission Hospital in Mumias.
A postmortem examination is expected to establish the circumstances and cause of his death.
