More than 50 passengers escaped unhurt after a Tahmeed bus they were travelling in caught fire along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.
The incident occurred between Makindu Market and Kiunduani Market as the bus headed towards Mombasa.
No injuries were reported, but the fire destroyed all the property the bus was carrying.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the fire may have been caused by a mechanical fault.
