The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has announced that 23 anti-corruption cases will be coming up before various courts across the country between November 2 and November 6, 2026.

In a schedule released by the ODPP, the cases involve allegations ranging from procurement irregularities, bribery and abuse of office to forgery of academic documents, fraudulent acquisition of public property and money laundering.

Among the cases scheduled for court proceedings is the corruption case involving former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu Babayao and others, in which the court is expected to deliver a sentence on November 2, 2026.

Another notable case involves Humphrey Oswago, former Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), alongside others, over alleged procurement irregularities. The matter is scheduled for mention on November 3 to confirm the status of High Court Revision No. E007 of 2026.

The ODPP has also listed a case against George Kirichu Wainaina, who is accused of using forged academic documents to secure employment at Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company Limited. The matter is scheduled for defence hearing on November 6.

Other cases include allegations of bribery against former officials of Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company, Kenya Power and Lighting Company, and the Nairobi Metropolitan Services.

The schedule further highlights cases involving alleged irregular procurement at the Office of the Auditor General, Kenya Wildlife Service and other public institutions.

On November 5, the court is expected to hear a corruption and conspiracy case involving former Director-General and officials of the National Youth Service (NYS), Richard Ndubai and others.

The ODPP has also listed several cases involving alleged forgery of academic certificates by individuals accused of using fraudulent qualifications to secure employment in public institutions, including the IEBC, Nairobi City County and the County Assembly of Kiambu.

Other matters will come up for mentions to confirm compliance with plea bargain agreements, filing of submissions, pre-trial directions and other court processes.

The five-day schedule forms part of the ODPP’s ongoing prosecution of corruption-related cases, with proceedings expected to take place in different courts between November 2 and 6, 2026.
