Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Cassypool has publicly expressed regret over his past political support for President William Ruto, admitting that his political stand negatively affected his personal brand and relationships with some of his fans.
In an emotional statement, Cassypool said his decision to support Ruto came at a personal cost, claiming that it damaged the brand he had built over the years.
The aspiring Nairobi governor also apologised to supporters who felt disappointed or hurt by his political position, acknowledging that some people were left heartbroken by his decision.
“I regret supporting William Ruto. I regret because I killed my brand,” Cassypool stated.
He further appealed for forgiveness from fans and individuals who felt betrayed by his political choices, saying he was sorry for hurting them.
“To those people who I broke their hearts for my political stand, to my fans who I hurt, please forgive me,” he added.
Cassypool’s remarks signal a possible change in his political positioning as he prepares to contest the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in the 2027 General Election.
