The Rwandan franc is quoted at KSh11.39, while the South African rand is trading at KSh7.79.
The daily exchange rates provide a reference for transactions involving foreign currencies and are closely watched by businesses, travelers, importers and other players whose activities are affected by movements in the foreign exchange market.
The CBK publishes the rates daily as part of its role in providing official financial and economic information to the market.
The latest figures come as the Kenyan shilling continues to be monitored against major international currencies, particularly the US dollar, which plays a key role in Kenya’s import and external payment obligations.
