England rounded off their latest UEFA Nations League campaign in style, beating Czechia 3-0 at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night.
England national football team dominated proceedings and secured another important Group A3 victory, with captain Harry Kane at the centre of the action on a memorable night.
The breakthrough came in the 27th minute when Czech defender Vladimír Coufal turned Kane’s dangerous low cross into his own net, giving England a 1-0 lead.
Kane then doubled England’s advantage before half-time, finishing clinically after being played through by Morgan Rogers to put Thomas Tuchel’s side firmly in control.
The Bayern Munich striker completed his brace in the 57th minute, rising highest to head home a Lewis Hall corner and seal a convincing 3-0 victory. The goal took Kane’s England tally to 91 goals in 125 appearances.
The match was particularly significant for Kane, who equalled Peter Shilton’s record of 125 England appearances. He marked the historic milestone with another outstanding performance in front of the Wembley crowd.
England also maintained a clean sheet as goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and the defence dealt with Czechia’s attempts to find a way back into the contest.
The victory strengthens England’s position in Nations League Group A3, while Spain also claimed victory against Croatia on the same night.
With Kane leading the line and England producing another assured display, the Three Lions continue to build momentum in their Nations League campaign.
