Kenya Lionesses head coach has named a 20-player provisional squad, with Kenya Harlequins captain Sheila Chajira set to lead the team.
Chajira headlines the squad alongside a blend of experienced players and emerging talents as the Lionesses step up preparations for their upcoming rugby assignments.
The provisional squad features Faith Livoi, Grace Okulu, Janet Okello, Sinaida Mokaya, Freshia Oduor, Naomi Amuguni and Stella Wafula.
Also included are Charity Nila, Judith Auma, Maureen Chebet, Marvel Oswago, Nelly Chikombe, Diana Awino and Moreen Muritu.
Edith Nariaka, Beatrice Osimbo, Maxine Abuga, Angel Salamba and Yvette Okech complete the 20-player squad.
The squad will form the core of the Lionesses’ preparations, with the technical bench expected to trim the provisional group before the final team is confirmed.
