Kenya has achieved a significant milestone in criminal investigations and international law enforcement cooperation following the admission of the National Criminal Investigations Academy (NCIA) into the INTERPOL Global Academy Network.
The development is expected to strengthen Kenya’s investigative capabilities by expanding opportunities for professional development, knowledge exchange and collaboration with law enforcement institutions across the world.
Through the network, the academy will have opportunities to learn from international best practices and enhance the skills and expertise required to tackle increasingly complex transnational crimes.
Kenya’s admission also positions the country to contribute its own investigative experience and knowledge towards strengthening global law enforcement efforts.
The move comes amid growing demand for international cooperation in addressing evolving criminal activities that increasingly cross national borders and require coordinated responses from law enforcement agencies.
By joining the INTERPOL Global Academy Network, Kenya aims to support efforts to build a safer and more secure world through shared expertise, professional training and collective action against crime.
The admission marks an important step in strengthening the country’s capacity to respond to emerging security challenges while deepening cooperation with international law enforcement partners.
