The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has surpassed the KSh1 trillion revenue collection mark, raising KSh1.010 trillion by the end of October 2026 in what marks a major milestone in the country’s revenue mobilisation efforts.

The achievement places the Authority on a positive revenue collection trajectory, having attained the trillion-shilling threshold a month earlier compared to previous financial years.

According to KRA, the milestone reflects improved revenue mobilisation efforts and sustained progress in meeting the country’s revenue collection targets.

Crossing the KSh1 trillion mark by October signals an early achievement for the Authority as it continues efforts to strengthen domestic revenue collection and support the government’s financing needs.

The latest performance marks a significant development in KRA’s revenue collection efforts as the 2026/2027 financial year progresses.
