The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has given motor vehicle owners two months to collect their printed physical logbooks before the collection deadline expires.

In a notice issued on June 11, 2026, the authority directed motorists to collect their logbooks within six months, setting the deadline for December 11, 2026.

As of October 12, 2026, vehicle owners have two months remaining to collect the documents before the deadline.

NTSA warned that logbooks that remain uncollected after the six-month period will be disposed of in accordance with the authority’s policy.

Motorists who fail to collect their documents could also face difficulties accessing services that require a copy of the logbook, as they may be required to attach the current or original document when making applications.

The authority clarified that the collection exercise is free of charge. Vehicle owners are required to present their previous logbook and a valid identification document for verification.

The documents can be collected
