Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Migos Ogamba has described the administration of the 2026 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) as successful, despite minor challenges reported in some parts of the country.
Speaking during the official opening of an examination container at the Sotik Deputy County Commissioner’s Office in Bomet County, Ogamba said the assessments had been conducted smoothly across the country, with only a few isolated incidents recorded.
The challenges included disruptions caused by adverse weather conditions, minor administrative irregularities and cases involving candidates who required medical attention.
Ogamba praised the overall administration of the examinations, noting that the reported incidents had not significantly disrupted the assessment process.
