A passenger has died aboard a Kenya Airways flight from Nairobi to Nigeria after reportedly becoming unresponsive during the journey.
Kenya Airways confirmed the incident, saying the passenger was found unresponsive while on board the flight bound for Lagos.
The airline said the passenger was attended to, but was later pronounced dead upon arrival at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
“Kenya Airways confirms that a passenger on one of our flights from Nairobi to Lagos was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Murtala Muhammed International Airport,” the airline said.
The circumstances surrounding the passenger’s death have not been disclosed.
Kenya Airways expressed its condolences to the passenger’s family and loved ones, as relevant authorities work to establish the circumstances that led to the death.
