Quickmart PLC has revised the allocation of its KSh15 billion initial public offering (IPO) after admitting three additional cornerstone investors, as the retailer prepares to close its share sale on October 30, 2026.
The supermarket chain is offering two billion shares at KSh7.50 each, with the revised allocation dividing the offer among cornerstone, institutional, local retail and foreign investors.
Cornerstone investors will receive 48 per cent of the shares on offer, while institutional investors have been allocated 32 per cent. Kenyan retail investors will receive 12 per cent, with foreign investors allocated the remaining eight per cent.
Successful applicants are expected to receive their shares on November 11, 2026.
The IPO forms part of the retailer’s efforts to raise capital through the public market and broaden its shareholder base.
