Police in Parklands have arrested two suspects following investigations into the theft of an HP laptop and an iPad from Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) premises.

The theft was reported on September 14, 2026, prompting detectives to launch investigations and follow leads that led them to the first suspect in Imara Daima, Nairobi.

Several items considered relevant to the investigation were recovered from the suspect. Further inquiries led detectives to a second suspect, who was found in possession of an HP laptop.

A serial number verification established that the laptop was the same device reported stolen from KenGen.

The suspects are being held in police custody as investigations continue, with detectives working to recover the remaining property and determine the full circumstances of the alleged theft.
