A Kisii University student has died after allegedly falling from the sixth floor of Umoja Elimu Centre in Kisii CBD while sitting for an examination.
The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a report by the area chief.
The student was reportedly rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital with serious injuries but later died while receiving treatment.
Preliminary reports suggest the student may have been caught copying during the examination, although the circumstances surrounding the fall have not been established.
Police are investigating the incident to determine what happened before the student fell from the building.
