Students at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic staged demonstrations on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, protesting what they described as poor administration and delays in the release of examination results.
The demonstrations saw students raise concerns over the institution’s management, demanding answers on why examination results have reportedly taken longer than expected to be released.
Student Council President Naaman Wanjala questioned the administration’s handling of student affairs, accusing the institution’s leadership of failing to address issues affecting learners.
Wanjala challenged the administration to explain why students continue to experience delays in receiving their examination results, which could affect their academic progression and future plans.
“Why is the administration failing the students? Why are examination results being delayed?” Wanjala questioned.
The students’ action highlights growing concerns over administrative efficiency and accountability at the institution, with learners seeking timely communication and the resolution of issues affecting their academic progress.
The demonstrators are calling on the administration to address their grievances and ensure examination results are released without unnecessary delays.
