The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has arrived at AIC Church in Riruta, Nairobi, for a community dialogue with members of the public and stakeholders in the criminal justice system.
The engagement aims to educate the public on the mandate and functions of the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), highlighting its role in pursuing justice through the courts of law.
The dialogue is also expected to provide an opportunity for members of the public to gain a better understanding of the prosecution process and the ODPP’s responsibilities within Kenya’s criminal justice system.
Through such engagements, the ODPP seeks to strengthen public awareness of its mandate and promote informed participation in matters relating to the administration of justice.
The meeting brings together members of the community and key stakeholders in the criminal justice system to enhance understanding of the prosecution process and the role of the public in promoting access to justice.
