KCB Bank has announced that its old mobile banking application will be discontinued on Thursday, October 15, 2026, urging customers to upgrade to the new app to continue accessing mobile banking services.
In a customer notice, the bank advised users to switch to the new KCB Mobile Banking App ahead of the deadline to ensure continued access to convenient and seamless mobile banking services.
The bank said the move would require customers still using the old application to upgrade before the discontinuation date.
“We appreciate your continued trust in KCB and thank you for banking with us,” the bank stated in the notice.
KCB did not provide further details in the notice on whether customers would experience any service interruptions before the deadline.
Customers are encouraged to ensure they are using the new application and to obtain it through official KCB channels.
The announcement comes as financial institutions continue to expand and update their digital banking platforms to improve customer access to financial services.
Customers are advised to verify the new application’s authenticity through official KCB platforms before downloading it and to avoid sharing their banking PINs, passwords or one-time passwords with anyone.
