Kenyan content creator Keranta has reportedly covered up a tattoo bearing the name of her former boyfriend, fellow comedian and YouTuber Flaqo, following their highly publicised breakup.

The development has attracted attention on social media, with fans interpreting the move as a sign that Keranta is turning a new page after the end of their relationship.

The tattoo, which reportedly carried Flaqo’s name, had previously been a visible symbol of their relationship. Its reported alteration has since sparked conversations among their followers, particularly given the couple’s history and the public interest surrounding their separation.

According to entertainment reports published on November 4, 2026, the tattoo transformation comes approximately three years after the pair ended their relationship. Images circulating online show the new artwork covering the area where Flaqo’s name was previously tattooed.

Keranta and Flaqo, whose real name is Erastus Ayieko Otieno, were among Kenya’s popular content-creating couples. They frequently featured in each other’s videos and shared moments of their relationship with fans. The two also reportedly had matching padlock-and-key tattoos as a symbol of their love.

Their breakup became public in 2024 after speculation about their relationship intensified. Keranta subsequently confirmed their separation, while addressing rumours surrounding the circumstances that led to the split.

In September 2024, she urged social media users against misinterpreting her posts as attacks on her former boyfriend.

“Flaqo and I broke up but respect still stands. Let’s stop the unfair assumptions,” Keranta stated at the time.

The latest tattoo transformation has reignited conversations about the former couple, with social media users sharing mixed reactions to her decision to cover up the permanent reminder of their past relationship.
