Nairobi music fans have a date to mark on their calendars as Kodong Klan prepares to bring all seven members together for a major live show later this month.

Dubbed All Hands On Deck, the concert is scheduled for November 28 at the A.S.K. Dome in Nairobi, promising an evening that puts the individual personalities and sounds of the collective in the spotlight before bringing them together on one stage.

The seven-member collective brings together Bensoul, Charisma, Coster Ojwang, Mordecai Dex, Okello Max, Onyach Pala and Ywaya Tajiri.

Rather than having the group perform as one act throughout the night, the show is designed to give each member an individual set, allowing fans to experience their different musical styles before the collective comes together for a joint finale.

That means fans can expect a night moving across different sounds, from soulful vocals and Afropop to dancehall, hip-hop and the group’s wider musical influences.

The concert is also a chance to see the collective’s chemistry in a live setting, with the seven artists sharing a stage after building individual careers and audiences.

For fans who have followed the group, the format offers something beyond a standard concert: seven performances under one banner, followed by a moment when the whole Klan takes over.

All Hands On Deck is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. on November 28 and run into the early hours of the following morning.

Advance tickets are listed at KSh 5,000, with the first advance category already sold out. The event is being presented as the first edition of a recurring live-show concept.
