Kenyan singer Willy Paul has joined forces with Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Jay Melody on a new collaboration titled Miti, released on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
The song brings together the two East African musicians in a romantic track that explores love, commitment and the strength of relationships.
The title, Miti, is the Swahili word for trees. The song uses the imagery of trees to represent relationships that remain firm and continue to grow despite challenges.
Willy Paul, popularly known as Pozze, brings his contemporary Afro-pop sound to the collaboration, while Jay Melody contributes his melodic Bongo Flava style.
The release also draws on a musical connection that goes back several years. Jay Melody previously revealed that he wrote songs for Willy Paul, including Njiwa and Kakololo, before building his own career as a recording artist.
The latest collaboration sees the two musicians share a track as performers, bringing together their Kenyan and Tanzanian fan bases.
Miti adds to the growing list of cross-border collaborations between Kenyan and Tanzanian artists, reflecting the continued exchange of sounds and talent within East Africa.
