Sauti Sol singer Bien-Aimé Baraza has declared an end to his long-running public feud with fellow Kenyan musician Otile Brown, saying their exchanges were never meant to be taken seriously.
Speaking during an appearance on the Mic Cheque podcast, Bien said he had been trolling Otile during their online exchanges and expressed regret that the situation had escalated.
“I have no beef with him. Let today be the day I have squashed this beef with him,” Bien said.
He also praised Otile’s dedication to music, describing him as a hardworking artiste and expressing affection for him.
“Otile, I love you. You are a hardworking person and let’s keep going, you are necessary,” he added.
Bien explained that he had once tried to reach Otile with the intention of turning their online exchanges into a business opportunity, but the singer did not answer his call. He said Otile had blocked him during the height of their disagreement.
The public fallout between the two musicians dates back to 2024, when they exchanged criticism on social media following disagreements over the Kenyan music industry and each other’s music.
Bien had previously apologised to Otile in August 2024, only to withdraw the apology a day later and release a diss track.
His latest remarks, made in December 2025, appear to put the disagreement to rest, with Bien making it clear that he has no intention of continuing the feud.
The announcement has also revived speculation among fans about whether the two musicians could eventually work together on a song.
