The National Police Service (NPS) has intensified its crackdown on criminal gangs in Trans Nzoia County following the arrest of a suspect allegedly linked to the coordination of criminal networks operating in the region.
In a statement, the NPS said the suspect remains in police custody as investigations continue, with detectives seeking to identify other individuals suspected of being involved in the criminal networks.
The ongoing investigations aim to establish the full extent of the networks’ operations, identify possible accomplices and dismantle the groups responsible for criminal activities across the county.
The arrest highlights the security agencies’ continued efforts to combat organised crime, disrupt criminal networks and enhance public safety in Trans Nzoia.
