Senior Counsel Charles Kanjama has called on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to urgently investigate the reported abduction of advocate Abshir Ahmedsadak Abdi.

In a statement posted on X, Kanjama directly addressed DCI Director Mohamed Amin, saying the agency could not continue denying the allegations.

Kanjama said the DCI had a constitutional responsibility to investigate the incident and ensure those responsible for Abdi’s reported abduction were brought to justice.

He also demanded that the advocate be produced, as his whereabouts remain unknown following his reported disappearance along Muchai Road, off Ngong Road, Nairobi, on November 2, 2026.
