Elsa has spoken out against claims about her alleged drug use, saying she has never used drugs and urging young people not to be influenced by substance abuse.

In a statement addressing the criticism she has received from strangers, Elsa said she had been called a “junkie” despite insisting that she had never used drugs in her life.

“I’ve had strangers calling me a junkie when I have never done drugs in my life. Not once,” she said.

She also pushed back against assumptions about her mental health based on her personal style and lifestyle choices, arguing that dressing as she pleased and living on her own terms should not be interpreted as signs of mental illness.

“Dressing how I want and doing what I want doesn’t make me mentally unwell,” Elsa added.

The statement also highlighted her concern about the influence she may have on young people who look up to her.

Elsa urged her followers, particularly young people, to avoid substance abuse and prioritise their education, stressing that drug use should not be glamorised.

“It’s such a shame because so many young minds look up to me. Drugs are not cool. Stay in school. Be kind,” she said.

Her message ended with a sign-off, “Love Elsa,” reinforcing her appeal for kindness and a more thoughtful approach to judging others.

Her remarks come amid wider conversations about public scrutiny, personal expression and the assumptions people make about others based on their appearance and lifestyle.
