Former Alego Usonga Member of Parliament Otieno Makonyango has died while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital.
The news of his death was announced by Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi, who shared a condolence message mourning the former legislator.
“We have this evening lost the Hon Otieno Makonyango, Former MP, Alego Usonga Constituency, while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi Hospital,” Atandi stated.
The current legislator paid tribute to Makonyango, extending his condolences following the loss.
“May his soul rest in peace,” Atandi added.
Makonyango previously represented Alego Usonga Constituency in the National Assembly. Further details regarding his death, including his age and funeral arrangements, were not immediately available.
