More than 400 exhibitors are showcasing locally manufactured products at the ninth edition of the Changamka Kenya Shopping Festival, which opened at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) and will run until November 7.
Industrialisation and Trade Cabinet Secretary Lee Kinyanjui has urged Kenyans to support locally made goods, saying increased consumption would boost manufacturing, create jobs and strengthen economic growth.
The festival, organised by the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM), will also host the fourth Industrialisation Summit on November 4, bringing together government and industry players to discuss investment, trade and manufacturing growth.
