Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has pledged to strengthen collaboration with National Government Administrative Officers (NGAOs) and grassroots leaders to enhance security coordination and improve the implementation of government programmes.
Omollo said the government would continue engaging administrative officers at the grassroots level to support security operations and ensure the effective delivery of essential services to Kenyans.
“We will continue to strengthen engagement with National Government Administrative Officers (NGAOs) and their grassroots networks to enhance security coordination and support the effective implementation of government programmes,” Omollo stated.
He noted that the collaboration would also support the ongoing national examinations and facilitate the issuance of national identity cards and birth certificates.
Omollo made the remarks after chairing a consultative meeting with NGAOs in Bahati Sub-County, Nakuru County, led by Rift Valley Regional Commissioner Dr. Abdi Hassan.
The meeting brought together the County Commissioner, Assistant County Commissioners, chiefs, assistant chiefs and village elders to discuss ways of strengthening coordination between the national government and grassroots administrative structures.
The engagement underscores the government’s reliance on local administrators to coordinate security efforts, support the implementation of public programmes and improve access to essential government services.
Omollo reaffirmed the importance of sustained engagement with grassroots networks in ensuring government initiatives are implemented effectively and reach the intended beneficiaries.
