Residents and businesses supplied by the Karimenu pipeline are set to experience water supply interruptions following a planned shutdown to facilitate critical maintenance works.
In a public notice, the water service provider announced that the pipeline would be shut down from 3:00am on Thursday, November 5, until 8:00am on Friday, November 6, 2026.
The interruption is expected to affect areas supplied by the pipeline, although the specific locations were listed in an accompanying notice.
The utility said the shutdown was necessary to facilitate critical works and enable the restoration of normal water supply.
It apologised to customers for the inconvenience and assured them that efforts were underway to resume normal services once the works were completed.
Residents in the affected areas have been advised to make alternative arrangements for water during the shutdown period.
