A police inspector has been charged with the murder of Dr Victoria Nthunya Mutiso in Nairobi.
Inspector Kenneth Kipkemboi Sang appeared before Justice Alexander Muteti to answer to a murder charge contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code.
According to the charge sheet, Sang allegedly murdered Dr Mutiso on the morning of July 29, 2026, at around 9:30am along Mawensi Road in Kilimani, Nairobi County.
The charge states that he committed the offence jointly with other persons who have not been brought before the court.
Sang pleaded not guilty to the charge.
A probation officer was granted 21 days to prepare a probation report, with the matter scheduled for mention on November 30.
